Scientific education on lymphoma

As the fastest-growing hematologic malignancy, lymphoma affects more than 1 million patients worldwide, and approximately 360,000 patients die each year due to failure to save their lives. In China, the incidence of malignant lymphoma is about 3.5 per 100,000, with a rapidly increasing trend of about 45,000 new patients and more than 20,000 deaths per year. However, the majority of people do not know enough about lymphoma and believe that lymphoma is “dangerous” and “has a poor prognosis”. In fact, with early detection and regular treatment, about 50% of patients can be cured. I have been working to raise awareness of lymphoma through popular education and to change the current fear of lymphoma among patients and the general public. Therefore, in the future, I will consciously increase the content of scientific knowledge about lymphoma here, hoping to make more people know and understand lymphoma through this platform.
