Can scoliosis affect fertility?

Patient: I am 26 years old, I was examined as a child and have severe scoliosis, resulting in asymmetry on both sides and short upper body, the rest of the gynecological aspects are perfectly normal, will this affect fertility? What can you suggest me to be examined? Will it be possible to get it corrected? Doctor: Hi, I can’t answer you accurately because I haven’t seen your x-rays. However, according to what you have described, there is severe scoliosis at an early age, and you are advised to have early surgery to correct it, otherwise it will keep getting worse. I wonder what symptoms of discomfort you are currently experiencing? For example, do you have low back pain, strength of lower limbs, abnormal sensation, etc. If you have these problems, you need surgery as soon as possible. Please describe in detail and upload the x-rays to me with a digital camera. Regarding whether scoliosis affects fertility, generally speaking scoliosis, if very severe, may have an effect during pregnancy. The development of scoliosis may be accelerated after childbirth.
