Cervical cancer stage 2b has entered the middle stage of cervical cancer, which is divided into 4 stages, each of which is divided into a and b. Among them, stage 1 is the early stage of cervical cancer, stages 3 and 4 are the late stage of cervical cancer, and stage 2 is the middle stage of cervical cancer compared to stages 3 and 4. Cervical cancer stage 2b means that the cancer has already spread beyond the uterus and has parametrial infiltration, but it has not reached the pelvic wall or the lower 1/3 of the vagina. Therefore, surgery is usually not performed. Some people may consider surgery to remove the tumor if the tumor shrinks significantly after chemotherapy.
