Can you get an MRI to check for cerebral infarcts?

The advantage of MRI for cerebral infarction is not only that it can show new infarct lesions, but also that lesions occurring in the cortex or parietal ventricles, which are more easily disturbed, can be well visualized on diffusion images.
After the onset of cerebral infarction, the infarct site can show a high signal shadow on MRI diffusion-weighted imaging, which is the main examination method for early detection of infarct lesions.
However, not every patient is suitable for MRI examination, such as patients with claustrophobia, or patients with metal joints, or patients with pacemakers, are unable to enter the MRI room for MRI examination.
