What are the factors affecting vision after cataract surgery?

There are three main factors affecting the vision after cataract surgery: 1. The condition of the patient’s eye, such as whether the tear film is functioning well, how transparent the cornea is, whether it is combined with corneal astigmatism, the extent of iris defect, the degree of vitreous transparency, and the health of the retina and optic nerve. The cataract is like a camera lens, but whether the protective lens in front of the camera lens is transparent, whether the film imaging quality is good, and whether the camera power supply is sufficient, all these conditions will affect the photographic effect. 2. Whether accidents and complications occur during and after cataract surgery. Whether they are temporary or permanent. It is like the contamination of the protective lens in front of the camera lens or the poor quality of the film and the lack of power. 3. Whether the preoperative IOL calculation is consistent with the actual demand. If the camera lens is wrongly selected, the imaging effect will not be the same. Therefore, postoperative vision depends on adequate preparation of preoperative examination, careful and skillful operation, and careful postoperative care.
