Is aplastic anemia serious?

Aplastic anemia, referred to as retroviruses, can generally be relieved or even cured if properly treated, while severe retroviruses are more serious with heavy and rapid progression and high mortality rate.

1. Non-severe remittent anemia: the onset and progression of the disease is relatively slow, and the condition is milder than that of severe remittent anemia. Most of the symptoms are anemia such as pallor, fatigue, dizziness, etc. High fever is less common than the severe type, the infection is relatively easy to control, and the bleeding tendency is lighter, with skin and mucous membrane bleeding as the main symptoms.

2. Severe reocclusion: acute onset, rapid progression, serious condition, often life-threatening, mortality rate is very high, can reach more than 90%. Most of the patients have progressive anemia, most of them have fever, body temperature above 39℃, accompanied by massive bleeding from skin and mucous membranes, nosebleed, gum bleed, and serious intracranial hemorrhage.

Therefore, when diagnosed with retroviruses, early treatment should be provided. Most of the non-severe retroviruses can be relieved or even cured, and the prognosis of severe retroviruses has improved significantly with the improvement of treatment methods.
