Can kidney disease be cured?

Most kidney diseases are not curable, but a small number of diseases can be cured, such as pyelonephritis, especially acute pyelonephritis, which is a type of urinary tract infection, and bacteria can usually be detected in the microbiological culture of the middle urine, which can be cured in about 2 weeks with the application of antibiotic therapy as prompted by the drug sensitivity results. There is another kind of nephrotic syndrome, which requires a renal puncture biopsy to clarify its pathological type. If it is primary nephrotic syndrome, after anti-immune treatment, generally applying hormones, cyclophosphamide, tacrolimus or cyclosporine for 1.5-2 years, 50% of patients can show a tendency to be cured. So whether nephropathy can be cured depends on the pathological type of nephropathy, such as diabetic nephropathy and renal failure, it is impossible to be cured, and the aim of treatment is to slow down the progress of the disease.
