The risk period for minor brain hemorrhage is a few days

The risk period for minor cerebral hemorrhage is usually within 1-2 weeks. There is usually a risk of rebleeding and cerebral edema after minor brain hemorrhage has occurred. Its good period for rebleeding is within 72 hours after brain hemorrhage, and brain edema can form after 72 hours. It usually starts on day 3, peaks around day 5, and begins to subside after 1 week. The brain damage caused by brain hemorrhage is mainly cerebral edema, and the patient’s state of consciousness should be closely observed and the head CT should be reviewed in a timely manner during the risk period, which is usually about 1 week if the amount of brain hemorrhage is relatively small. Secondly, during the risk period, patients should rest in bed, keep the bowel movement smooth and avoid exertion. Use drugs to reduce cerebral edema and dehydration to lower cranial pressure under the guidance of a doctor to avoid re-bleeding to form severe cerebral edema and endanger the patient’s life. Patients with mild cerebral hemorrhage are advised to visit the neurology department of the hospital promptly, take more bed rest and keep the airway unobstructed; pay attention to the changes of pupil size, consciousness and vital signs. After the dangerous period, rehabilitation exercises need to be carried out as early as possible to promote the recovery of body functions, avoid bad emotions, and review regularly.
