There are three major manifestations of prostate enlargement: frequent urination, difficult urination, and hematuria. 1, frequent urination is the earliest manifestation, first for the nighttime urinary frequency, followed by daytime also appear frequent urination. Later, the bladder forced urinary muscle loss of compensation after the remaining urine increased, the effective capacity of the bladder reduced, also make the frequency of urination more serious. 2. Difficulty in urination, progressive difficulty in urination is a distinctive feature of the disease, manifested by delayed onset of urination, thinning of the urine line, shortening of the projection, dripping after urination, etc. 3, hematuria, the prostate mucosa capillary congestion and small blood vessel dilation, and by the bladder filling, contraction of the pull and rupture bleeding. Hematuria can also occur when combined with bladder tumors. The International Prostate Symptom Score asks patients seven questions about urination and rates each question according to the severity of the symptoms, with a total score of 0-35. Of these, 0-7 is considered mild symptoms; 8-19 is moderate symptoms; and 20-35 is severe symptoms. Although the IPSS analysis seeks to quantify the degree of symptom change, it is still influenced by subjective factors. If a patient has difficulty urinating and it affects the patient’s specific life, we also need to communicate well with the patient with prostate enlargement. If after some examination, and communication of disease knowledge, the patient can be surgically treated, then we need to use surgery to deal with it, so that the pain of prostate enlargement can be relieved.
