Vomiting blood is mostly caused by acute bleeding from the upper gastrointestinal tract, including bleeding from the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, a small amount of pancreas and bile ducts. The bleeding site bleeds more in a shorter period of time and the stomach cannot be emptied in time, resulting in vomiting blood. Common esophageal diseases include the following: 1, rupture of esophageal varices caused by cirrhosis, esophageal cancer, esophageal foreign bodies, etc. Esophageal varices are more common, often caused by cirrhosis portal hypertension; 2, gastroduodenal bulb diseases, ulcer bleeding caused by taking antipyretic analgesics, stress acute mucosal lesions, gastric cancer, etc.; 3, biliary and liver diseases, cirrhosis, portal hypertension, gastric fundic varices rupture, malignant tumor, bleeding caused by parasitic rupture; 4, pancreatic diseases, such as acute pancreatitis combined with abscess rupture, pancreatic cancer; 5, systemic diseases, including hematologic diseases, such as thrombocytopenic purpura, allergic purpura, etc.; 6, more rare infectious diseases, such as dengue fever, fulminant hepatitis, etc.
