How long can you live with prostate cancer?

  How long a patient with prostate cancer can live depends mainly on the stage of the tumor, the degree of malignancy and and personal physical factors, and most patients have a survival period of more than 5 years.  Prostate cancer is a common malignant tumor of the urinary system in men, mostly occurring in middle and old age, and its incidence increases with age. Eighty percent of prostate cancers develop in older men over the age of 65. The overall survival period of prostate cancer is relatively long. Patients with timely detection of early and middle stage can achieve cure or long-term survival through surgery, radiotherapy and endocrine therapy. Patients with advanced prostate cancer can also survive for more than 5 years with active treatment and good attitude after diagnosis.  Patients with prostate cancer need to have regular medical checkups, exercise more, maintain proper weight, eat reasonably, and keep their mood relaxed.
