Focal scleroderma usually refers to focal scleroderma, which usually cannot be cured on its own, and requires general treatment and medication (e.g. cyclophosphamide) as prescribed by the doctor to improve the condition and slow down the development of the disease.
1. General treatment: patients with focal scleroderma should keep the whole body warm, and can regularly massage and apply hot compresses to the affected area to improve the symptoms of progressive limitation of joint movement and muscle atrophy.
2. Drug therapy: patients can follow the doctor’s instructions to take cyclophosphamide, methotrexate, merti-macrolide and other immunosuppressive drugs for treatment. The above drugs can reduce the extent of the disease by suppressing the activity of the immune system, in order to slow down the development of focal scleroderma.
If the diagnosis of focal scleroderma is confirmed, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the diagnosis and treatment, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
