Is it normal for the fetus to move frequently?

The fetal movement between 28-32 weeks of pregnancy tends to be more frequent and not yet regular. If there is a sudden and frequent increase in fetal movement after a regular fetal movement has been established, it is recommended to perform ultrasound and fetal heart monitoring to detect the possibility of intrauterine hypoxia in time. The normal fetal movement occurs in the second 4 months of pregnancy, and can be obviously felt in the second 5 months of pregnancy. 28-32 weeks of gestation is a normal phenomenon, and the fetal movement is usually obvious after three meals. If the number of fetal movements increases significantly, it should not be ignored, it may be caused by ischemia and hypoxia, which will change to decreased fetal movement until fetal death in the womb in a long time. The cause of hypoxia may be the umbilical cord wrapped around the neck, twisted or knotted umbilical cord or abnormal placental function. It is recommended to go to the hospital and check the ultrasound to exclude the above possibilities, and if necessary, hospitalization for observation. The mother should lie on her left side to ensure the blood supply of the placenta, monitor blood glucose and blood pressure and correct anemia during regular labor and delivery. The number of fetal movements can be recorded for one hour in the morning, one hour in the afternoon and one hour in the evening. The normal number of fetal movements per hour is about 3-5 times, after meals and at night may be more active. Once the normal number of times exceeds the normal range, it is recommended to consult a doctor immediately.
