How long does it usually take for lymphoma to spread?

The time for lymphoma to spread is related to the patient’s own condition, which may take 1~2 months or several years. Patients with lymphoma mainly show painless progressive lymph node enlargement, which is usually seen in the neck and supraclavicular lymph nodes. Sometimes, pain, difficulty in swallowing, chest tightness and other symptoms will be produced due to the enlarged lymph nodes compressing the neighboring tissues. As the disease progresses, the tumor can also spread to the chest, small intestine, stomach, kidneys, bones and other parts of the body. However, the exact time needed for spreading is uncertain. Some patients with poor physical condition or more serious condition may have spread in 1~2 months. Some patients’ tumors may be inert tumors, which will spread more slowly and may take several years or even longer. Patients are advised not to leave anything to chance and must undergo professional treatment in a timely manner to avoid deterioration and reduce the risk.
