Nasal mucosal erosion is due to the necrosis of mucosal epithelial cells on the surface of nasal cavity and the increase of connecting gaps between the cells, which leads to the symptoms of tissue fluid exudation, cell necrosis, hemorrhage of blood vessels, and nasal mucosal erosion, etc. The postoperative erosion may be caused by the diseases such as nasal lymphoma, atrophic rhinitis, and so on. 1. Nasal lymphoma: it is a group of malignant tumors originated from lymph nodes or other lymphatic tissues, which will present intermittent nasal obstruction with watery or bloody secretion, granulomatous ulceration of nasal septum, nasal mucosal erosion and other symptoms. 2. Atrophic rhinitis: it may be caused by the atrophy of nasal mucosa, and it will have symptoms such as nasal congestion, dryness of nasopharynx, nosebleed, and nasal mucous membrane erosion. Nasal mucous membrane erosion after surgery should be a light diet, do not force picking the nose, rubbing the nose and so on. If there is any discomfort, go to the hospital in time.
