Do thyroid tumors go away on their own?

Thyroid tumors do not go away by themselves and can usually be treated with medication, surgery and immunotherapy. 1. Drug treatment: If the patient suffers from thyroid tumor and the lesion is less than 2 centimeters, he or she can use drugs such as methimazole, thyroxine tablets, radioactive iodine-131 and so on under the guidance of doctor. These drugs have inhibitory effect on thyroid hormone and can effectively relieve thyroid tumor. 2. Surgery: If the patient suffers from thyroid tumor and the lesion is larger than 2 centimeters, he/she needs to go to the regular hospital and be treated by surgery to remove the thyroid tumor and the affected side of the gland. 3. Immunotherapy: Immunotherapy can culture and expand personal immune cells in vitro, and then put them back into the body, so that they can phagocytose the tumor cells, so as to achieve the purpose of treating thyroid tumor. If the patient suffers from thyroid tumor, it is recommended to consult the doctor in time, clarify the cause of the disease, and deal with it accordingly under the doctor’s guidance.
