At present, clinically, edema is divided into depressed edema and non-depressed edema. Most patients belong to depressed edema, and non-depressed edema refers to the part of edema that, if it is after pressure, cannot appear as a deep pit obvious after pressure. Although the patient’s legs or hands, these parts have edema, but after pressing and before pressing, the edema is no obvious change, clinically it is called non-depressed edema. It is mainly seen in filariasis, a lymphatic reflux disorder caused by filarial infection. There is also a condition of hypothyroidism, mainly due to mucus edema caused by hypothyroidism, which also belongs to non-sunken edema.
