Is there any way to treat optic nerve atrophy after having optic neuritis?

Patient: Description of condition (onset, main symptoms, hospital visited, etc.): I had a cold in July 2009, and on August 3, I suddenly had blurred vision in my right eye, so I went to Guangzhou on August 8 to seek medical advice. I was 5.5 months pregnant at that time, the doctor diagnosed optic neuritis but they were afraid to use a lot of hormone treatment, so I had to be induced to accept the hormone treatment. 23 August officially used hormone treatment, but there was no significant improvement, improve vision, and then the doctor said that optic neuritis will appear after the optic nerve atrophy, (I do not know if the best treatment time is missed), and then the doctor also prescribed some I have 0.03 in my right eye, and I can only see something very close to the light, but it’s blurry and I’m not sensitive to color. Is there any other way to improve and enhance my vision? I hope I can get some help to restore my vision and see things. Doctor: 1. It feels like you are a little late for treatment. If you are diagnosed with optic neuritis and need and decide to have a hormone shock, you should be painfully determined to have the shock sooner. Because high doses of hormones will bring many side effects, be fully prepared; 2, if there is optic nerve atrophy to see what degree, your vision is already very poor, longer, more difficult to recover. Go to the ophthalmology department to do a fundus fluorescence imaging, indocyanine green angiography and VEP, diagnose clearly the disease and its degree, to see if further treatment can also be treated, at least to reduce recurrence; 3, nerve-nourishing drugs can still be used.
