There are various treatments for fundus macular degeneration, which can be treated with anti-VEGF therapy, laser or medication depending on the type of macular degeneration. To determine what kind of macular lesion it is: if it is macular edema, it can be treated by intravitreal injection of tretinoin or by using macular laser grating-like photocoagulation. If the macular lesion is caused by diabetic retinopathy, or central retinal vein obstruction, and there is neovascularization under the macula, we should consider using anti neovascularization treatment and intravitreal injection, anti VEGF treatment. The treatment options for fundus macular lesion are drugs, laser and vitreous cavity injection.
