Firstly, if you find a drowning person, you should get them out of the water in time. If you do not know how to rescue them in the water and the water conditions at the scene, you can use the tools next to them, such as ropes and lifebuoys and other things to save them, do not save them blindly. Secondly, place the drowning person on a flat surface after rescuing him/her from the water and first remove any foreign objects such as silt or water plants from the mouth, nose and throat to ensure smooth breathing. Finally, if the drowning person’s breathing is weak, artificial respiration should be used immediately. If the drowning person’s heart has stopped, CPR should be performed immediately to help restore the heartbeat.
