It must be sealed well, because the severed finger (limb) should not be in direct contact with ice or ice water, otherwise it will frostbite and degenerate. After sealing, then put it in an appropriate container, surrounded by ice, such as no ice, put popsicles, ice-cream is fine, so that the broken finger (limb) is kept in 0-4 ℃ environment. If the severed finger (limb) is dirty and needs to be rinsed, only saline should be used.
