Clinical manifestations of neurasthenia

  1, debilitating symptoms: Patients often feel a lack of energy, depression, slow reaction or sleepy, inattentive, work efficiency is reduced, even with adequate rest still have a sense of fatigue.  2. Excitement symptoms: Patients are particularly excited when reading newspapers, watching TV programs or listening to stories, and their thinking is very active, and they will involuntarily recall or associate. The pointing thinking of urgent matters, but feel very strained. Before sleep, more floating thoughts are tangled and it is difficult to fall asleep, some are sensitive to sound and light.  3, emotional symptoms: especially easy to worry and agitation, worry about the content of the trivial matters of life, easy to sadness, tears. Some patients are suspicious and nervous; some are depressed, pessimistic and disappointed, some always hold a blame mood, blaming others for the cause of their disease; some have a suspicious mind, believing that they are suffering from a serious incurable disease.  4.Tension pain: often due to emotional discomfort and headache, head swelling, tight pressure on the head, or stiff neck, back pain or feeling of muscle pain and numbness in the limbs.  5.Sleep disorder: It is common that it is difficult to fall asleep, tossing and turning, distracted and unable to fall asleep. Or very shallow sleep, dreamy and easy to wake up, seems to have not slept the whole night. Most of the patients cannot relieve their fatigue after waking up and still feel sleepy. Some of them are drowsy and confused during the day, and have difficulty falling asleep after going to bed at night, and some lack the real sense of sleep.  6. Other common symptoms: dizziness, blurred vision, tinnitus, palpitations and panic, shortness of breath and chest tightness, loss of appetite, indigestion, distention and fullness of the abdomen, excessive sweating, frequent urination, low sexual function, irregular menstruation or dysmenorrhea in women, etc.
