Is progesterone 36 normal?

Progesterone 36nmol/L depends on whether the test taker is pregnant or not, if the test is taken in an infertile woman the result is usually normal; if the test is taken in early pregnancy then it may also be normal, if the test is taken in late pregnancy then it may be abnormal.
Generally, the level of progesterone in an infertile woman is lower than 1.9nmol/L in the follicular phase, and reaches 20.7~102.4nmol/L in the luteal phase. Therefore, if an infertile woman has a progesterone level of 36nmol/L in the luteal phase, the result is normal.
For women who are pregnant before the 6th week of pregnancy, a progesterone level of 25nmol/L or more is considered a normal pregnancy, so a progesterone level of 36nmol/L is also normal.
For pregnant women who are more than 6 weeks pregnant, if the test found progesterone 36nmol/L, then it is too low, may be due to ectopic pregnancy, luteal insufficiency, the gestational sac secretes too little HCG and other factors, it is an abnormal situation.
Therefore, if the test reveals progesterone 36nmol/L, it is advisable to consult a physician for disposal.
