Single application of higher doses of androgen receptor antagonists inhibits the stimulatory effect of androgens on prostate cancer and the proliferation of androgen-dependent prostate cancer cells, and has little effect on the patient’s serum testosterone and luteinizing hormone levels. It is mainly indicated for patients with locally advanced, non-metastatic prostate cancer. There was no significant difference in overall survival compared to drug or surgical debulking. While taking the drug, patients showed a significant increase in sexual performance and stamina, and a decrease in the incidence of cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis.
