A good mindset is the cure for disease

Seven years ago, I heard a story about mindfulness and health from my mentor that has influenced my entire practice. The story is that more than 20 years ago, a middle-aged man went to the hospital for an examination because of abdominal discomfort, and the ultrasound found that there was something growing on top of his liver. Suddenly, one day, the patient came to a hospital in Beijing, which happened to have introduced the most advanced CT at that time, and gave him an abdominal CT examination, and finally told him that it was probably liver cancer. The patient did not sleep for 3 consecutive days after learning the news and passed away in anxiety. Whenever I encounter anxious patients, I am willing to tell them extremely well that the state of mind determines the prognosis of many diseases. A good state of mind allows all organs to function in harmony, while a bad state of mind can cause many organs to “go on strike”, which is not conducive to health recovery.
