1. Suffering from cataract will cause symptoms of vision loss and blurred vision, and when the cataract cloudy crystal develops to the pupil area, painless vision loss, blurred vision, monocular diplopia, hyperopia, and black shadow in front of the eyes will occur.
2. Cataracts can lead to acute attacks of glaucoma. When cataract enters the expansion phase, glaucoma will be triggered. Patients will have higher intraocular pressure, significantly reduced visual acuity, painful eye swelling, headache, colored aperture when looking at lights, and nausea and vomiting in severe cases.
3. Cataracts may lead to blindness. If cataracts are not treated in the mature or overripe stage, vision will be significantly reduced until blindness and life will not be taken care of.
4. Cataracts can lead to other complications. Some cataracts can be complicated by serious complications such as uveitis in the mature and overripe stages. In addition to serious vision loss, swelling of eyelids, corneal edema, extensive adhesion between pupil and lens, and eye swelling and pain will occur.
However, cataracts are not terrible. Although there are no drugs that can effectively treat cataracts, surgery can be used to restore vision.
