The main manifestations of liver abscess CT are the following features: i. Single liver abscess: a distinct low-density area can be found in the liver, usually one, with a round or oval shape and unclear boundary. As the disease progresses, the boundary can be gradually clear, while the abscess wall is higher than the abscess cavity and has a different density from the normal liver tissue. The abscess wall is circular in shape, and gas or gas-liquid planes can be seen in some of the lesions. Second, multiple liver abscesses: multiple round or oval lesions can be found, and if enhanced CT is done, the abscess wall can be found to be regularly circumferentially reinforced, generally smooth and of uniform thickness, with the typical double ring sign, and some of the abscesses can be seen to be separated or honeycomb reinforced internally.
