Principles of shock resuscitation

The principles of shock resuscitation are correcting body position, replenishing blood volume, applying drugs and so on. 1. Correct the body position: when shock occurs, the patient should immediately correct the body position, elevate the head and trunk by 20-30°, and elevate the lower limbs by 15-20° in order to increase the volume of returned blood. 2. Supplementary blood volume: it is the key to correct the tissue hypoperfusion and hypoxia caused by shock, and it is necessary to open the venous channel in time, deliver crystalloid or component blood to maintain the blood pressure, so as to avoid organ failure due to insufficient blood volume. 3. Application of drugs: timely application of vasoconstrictors, such as dopamine, dobutamine, norepinephrine, etc., helps to maintain blood pressure and improve circulation, and improves blood perfusion to major organs, such as the heart and brain. After the occurrence of shock should immediately seek medical attention, actively take first aid measures to stabilize the condition of non-life-threatening, need to actively on the primary disease treatment, and strive for early recovery. The use of drugs must follow the doctor’s instructions, not blindly use their own drugs, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
