How to treat closed angle glaucoma

Patients with closed angle glaucoma can be treated with medication (e.g. Hirsutine drops), laser treatment, and surgery (e.g. peripheral iridectomy). 1. Medication: Patients with closed-angle glaucoma can be treated with medication to lower the intraocular pressure, such as brinzolamide eye drops, brinzolamide eye drops, brimonidine tartrate eye drops, and so on. 2. Laser treatment: patients with closed angle glaucoma can also be treated with laser therapy, such as iris laser perforation, to communicate with the anterior and posterior chambers and reduce intraocular pressure. 3. Surgery: When the effect of medication and laser treatment is not good, patients can undergo surgery, such as trabeculectomy and implantation of glaucoma drainage valves, etc., to release the pupillary block and establish an external drainage channel for atrial fluid, thus promoting the reduction of intraocular pressure. It is recommended that patients with closed-angle glaucoma should consult a doctor in a timely manner to assess their condition and undergo treatment under the guidance of a physician.
