There are many treatment options for diffuse liver disease, depending on what the cause of the liver disease is, because there are many causes of diffuse liver disease, commonly viral hepatitis, such as hepatitis B and hepatitis C. Hepatitis B is generally treated with interferon as well as nucleoside analogs, while hepatitis C is generally treated with interferon analogs, and now there are newly developed drugs that have been marketed in Europe. For autoimmune hepatitis, anti-immune therapy, such as the application of glucocorticoid drugs, is generally required. For pharmacological hepatitis, most of them are treated with symptomatic hepatoprotective therapy. For diffuse lesions caused by alcoholic, strict abstinence from alcohol is required, as well as abnormal liver function, which also requires hepatoprotective therapy. For diffuse hepatitis due to fatty liver disease, the patient needs to have a strictly controlled diet and be treated accordingly to the liver function.
