Positive hepatitis B core antibodies and positive surface antibodies indicate vaccination or recovery from viral infection. Positive Hepatitis B core antibody is a non-protective antibody, while Hepatitis B surface antibody is a protective antibody. Positive results of both of the above antibodies suggests two situations: firstly, it means that the human body has been vaccinated against the Hepatitis B virus, and thus gained effective immunity against the Hepatitis B virus. On the other hand, it may indicate that the body has been infected by Hepatitis B virus, but now the body is in the stage of recovery and also has certain immunity against Hepatitis B virus. When abnormal hepatitis B 5 test results are found, it is recommended to go to the hospital for further relevant examinations, such as quantitative test of hepatitis B virus, liver ultrasound, etc., to clarify the causes, so as to choose targeted treatment or regular review.
