Membranous nephropathy should not be extracted during the acute attack, but can be extracted during the stable and remission period, as analyzed below. Membranous nephropathy is more common in China and is a kind of chronic glomerulonephritis. Its clinical manifestations include swelling of both lower extremities, or even generalized swelling, poor nausea, weakness, foamy urine, etc. Its treatment is mainly the application of hormones and immunosuppressants and other combined treatments. If extracted during the acute attack, it can cause the increase of urine protein and aggravation of the disease, so it is not recommended to extract teeth during the acute phase of membranous nephropathy. If membranous nephropathy is effectively controlled after treatment and in remission, patients with membranous nephropathy can have their teeth extracted if they have gingival inflammation, otherwise if gingival inflammation recurs, it is not conducive to the treatment of membranous nephropathy.
