If you have an adnexal cyst on the right side of your pregnancy, the first thing to look at is whether the cyst was there before you got pregnant or if it formed after you got pregnant. If the ultrasound was done before pregnancy and showed that there was a cyst on the right side of the adnexal area, it is necessary to look at the echogenicity and size of the cyst. If the cyst is particularly large, it is recommended that the cyst be removed surgically, otherwise, if the cyst gradually increases during pregnancy and forms ovarian cyst torsion, it will cause gynecological pain in the lower abdomen and cause gynecological emergency abdomen, so if you are pregnant and have a particularly large cyst in the right adnexal area, larger than 5.0 cm, with the possibility of cyst torsion, it is recommended that the cyst be removed during pregnancy. In particular, cysts with poor echogenicity, tumor markers suggesting abnormalities, and malignant tendencies must be actively operated. After surgery, we will see the intraoperative rapid pathology and then decide the extent of surgery. If there are no cysts before pregnancy and cysts formed after pregnancy, there are physiological ovarian flavin cysts of pregnancy, such cysts can be reviewed regularly and are usually not a big problem. Therefore, if you are pregnant with a cyst in the right adnexal area, you must go to the hospital for the appropriate examination to see the size and nature of the cyst, and if it has a tendency to become malignant, you must operate immediately regardless of its size. If the cyst is particularly large and has formed a gynecologic cyst with a twisted tip, it must also be operated as soon as possible, if it is relatively small, it can be reviewed periodically.
