What are the serious stomach diseases

Severe gastric disease generally includes two broad aspects:

One is benign disease common acute gastric mucosal lesions, mostly seen in acute gastric mucosal injury, heavy congestion and edema of the gastric mucosa with erosion and bleeding. On the other hand, moderate to severe heterogeneous hyperplasia, severe intestinal epithelial metaplasia, gastric cancer, including early and progressive gastric cancer, gastric MALT lymphoma, gastric carcinoid tumor, and so on. The diagnosis should be confirmed by endoscopy and pathology and immunohistochemistry, and minimally invasive or open surgical treatment should be performed after the diagnosis has been made.

There are other diseases that invade the stomach and cause damage to the stomach, such as liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, bile duct cancer, mediastinal tumors, and so on.
