Chronic bronchitis is a chronic, non-specific inflammation of the trachea, bronchial mucosa and surrounding tissues caused by infectious or non-infectious factors. The clinical manifestations are mainly cough and sputum, or wheezing, usually lasting more than 2 years and accumulating over 3 months per year, and excluding other diseases that cause cough, sputum and wheezing symptoms.
