Laparoscopic procedure for renal cysts

Laparoscopic surgery for renal cysts is generally divided into trans-laparotomy and trans-posterior laparotomy. At present, the more widely used is trans-posterior laparotomy. The process is briefly described as follows: I. The patient is fasted for 12 hours and water fasted for 8 hours before surgery. Second, the patient takes the healthy side position, which means that the kidney on the side of surgery is above. Third, the routine surgical area is disinfected and toweled. Fourth, the retroperitoneal space is first established by balloon dilation. Fifth, generally through the anterior and posterior axillary lines, on the iliac crest, three puncture holes are made in the renal area, and surgical instruments are placed for surgery. VI. Separate and remove the retroperitoneal fat from the renal area, then cut the perirenal fascia longitudinally, separate the perirenal fat, separate to the surface of the kidney according to the location of the cyst, and find the cyst. VII. After incising the cyst wall and confirming that the cyst is correct, the free cyst wall of appropriate size is excised and hemostasis is thoroughly stopped, and the cyst cavity can be filled with adjacent adipose tissue. VIII. Close the incision sequentially and the operation is finished.
