Menopause can be sudden or slowly decreasing, and because of individual differences, menopause can manifest itself in different ways. When a woman is in menopause, the level of estrogen and progesterone decreases, and menstrual irregularities may occur, which may be manifested as a decrease or increase in the amount of menstrual flow, irregular menstrual cycles or sudden stoppage of menstruation, and shortening or lengthening of menstruation, etc. As each woman’s physical condition is different, there will be different manifestations during menopause. For most women, the menopausal period usually manifests itself in a gradual decrease in menstrual flow, a prolonged menstrual cycle, or even once every two to three months. However, it is normal for menstruation to stop coming or for the amount of menstruation to slowly decrease, and if there are no other uncomfortable symptoms, just let nature take its course. If a woman experiences irregular vaginal bleeding and heavy menstrual flow during menopause, she needs to go to the hospital for ultrasound and other tests to clarify the cause.
