How to treat stomach bleeding?

Gastric bleeding can be stopped with medications, commonly used drugs include acid suppressants, growth inhibitors, vasopressin and its analogs. Endoscopic hemostasis is used when pharmacologic hemostasis is ineffective, and drugs are injected endoscopically to stop the bleeding, or electrocoagulation, laser hemostasis, or microwave hemostasis are used. Interventional treatment is used when endoscopic treatment is unsuccessful. If medication, endoscopic and interventional treatment still cannot stop the bleeding, surgical treatment is required.
