Zhigou acupoint is located in the posterior region of the forearm, 3 inches above the transverse stripe on the dorsal side of the wrist at the distal end of the wrist, at the midpoint of the gap between the ulna and the radius. It is used for the treatment of deafness, tinnitus, violent mute (sudden loss of voice), coercive and rib pain, constipation, scrofula (mainly refers to cervical lymph node tuberculosis).
Zhaohai point, located in the ankle area, 1 inch below the tip of the inner ankle, in the marginal depression of the lower edge of the inner ankle. It treats insomnia, epilepsy, dry and sore throat, red and swollen eyes, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, yin ting (women with prolapsed uterus or even prolapsed from the vaginal opening), frequent urination, and retention of urine (dribbling of urine or inability to urinate).
The combination of Zhigou and Zhaohai points can be used to treat deafness, tinnitus, insomnia, and redness and swelling of the eyes.
