How long can you live with adenocarcinoma?

The survival time of adenocarcinoma patients needs to be determined according to the stage of the disease and the treatment method, and cannot be generalized. Adenocarcinoma is a malignant tumor originating from the epithelium of the salivary gland, which can occur in the lung, stomach and colon and has a relatively high malignancy. If the disease is detected early, the tumor is relatively small in the early stage and there is no metastasis yet, after active surgical treatment, clinical cure can be achieved and patients have a longer survival time. Some patients have already reached the middle and late stage when discovered, and spread to other tissues and organs, which has a greater impact on the survival time of patients. If the patient has genetic mutations, targeted drug therapy can be taken to effectively prolong the survival time, and some patients can survive for 3-5 years or even longer. If patients do not have genetic mutations, chemotherapy and immunotherapy can also extend the survival time to a certain extent. Patients need to enhance nutrition and exercise during treatment to improve the body’s immunity, which has a positive effect on prolonging survival time.
