Children’s bedwetting can be seen in younger children as a normal phenomenon, can be relieved through the guidance of the daytime birth, can also be seen in enuresis, oral medication, behavioral therapy adjustments and other methods to improve. 1. For younger children (within 5 years of age), due to the imperfect development of neurological function, can not well control urination, bedwetting phenomenon. If they drink a lot of water before going to bed, exercise strenuously, or eat foods or drinks that are easy to stimulate (e.g. caffeine), they are more likely to wet the bed. They need to avoid the above mentioned factors, do not drink milk before going to bed, and develop a good habit of urinating before going to bed. When the child grows older and his/her neurological function is perfected, bedwetting will gradually disappear. 2. The diagnosis of enuresis can be considered in children ≥5 years old, who urinate involuntarily ≥2 times/week during sleep, and the duration is more than 6 months. The diagnosis of enuresis is followed by a history and examination to determine whether the enuresis is functional or organic. In such children, it is recommended to actively seek medical attention and proper intervention after evaluation by a specialist.
