Why acidity and heartburn for stomach problems?

Gastric acidity is a common digestive symptom, not always a stomach problem. When the stomach has too much acid, the acidic secretion will stimulate the gastric mucosa, causing acidosis. The common symptoms of acidosis are: heartburn, especially obvious when lying down or increasing abdominal pressure after meals, and in severe cases, it can make the patient wake up in the night; food, acidic and bitter liquids refluxing into the mouth; some patients may feel difficulty in swallowing, and in severe cases, the esophagus (posterior to the sternum) is painful or even bleeding. There are many reasons for excessive stomach acid and acid reflux, mainly two kinds: 1, physiological acid reflux: when mental tension, excessive fatigue, poor mood, the cerebral cortex dysfunction, can not be well governed by the nerves of gastric acid secretion, prompted by increased secretion of gastric acid; dietary improprieties, such as over-sweet, over-salty, over-spiced, over-acidic, over-cold, too hot food can stimulate the increase in secretion of gastric acid; and certain coarse grains, sweet potatoes, potato, etc. Containing a lot of starch, sugar, acid, etc., will stimulate the stomach to produce a large amount of gastric acid, and not easy to digest the food, the remaining sugar in the gastrointestinal tract fermentation, will also induce panacid. In addition, some drugs, such as aspirin, lisinopril, pau d’arco, etc., can also stimulate increased secretion of gastric acid. 2, pathological acidosis: chronic gastritis, gastric or duodenal ulcer disease, etc., can promote the increase of gastric acid, often acidosis.
