Patient, male, 45 years old, university educated, company manager. Half a month ago, he went abroad to attend business training, and before he left, he felt more tired, and after he went to the field, he was very nervous in class. He returned home four days later. The family found that the patient’s speech and behavior were disorganized, and felt that the content of the TV was related to him, and that the national leader praised him. He was worried that he might be cheated, could not sleep at night, was nervous, and ran to the Public Security Bureau to report the case, and there was no TV around, but he heard the TV host commenting on himself. He was brought to the psychiatric department by his family and was considered to be in a “hallucinatory delusional state” and was treated with olanzapine. His symptoms were quickly controlled and he was able to realize that he was mentally and physically exhausted and was psychotic. This is a case of acute transient psychotic disorder. The patient may have been under prolonged mental stress, followed by the onset of the disorder in a situation of somatic overdraft. In the past, we think that the body is tired and only physical diseases will come out, but in fact, the body and mind are inseparable and psychiatric symptoms will also appear, commonly insomnia, anxiety, depression, but individuals will have psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations and delusions. If the treatment is timely, the effect is still very good. However, in the future, it is necessary to adjust the work state and psychological state, avoid overwork and excessive psychological stress, otherwise the condition will be repeated.
