Wisdom teeth may cause pain behind the ear. Normally, wisdom teeth that grow in the proper position and length do not cause any discomfort to the patient, but due to the late growth of wisdom teeth, there are some patients whose oral environment is not suitable for the growth of wisdom teeth and therefore may grow in a malformed manner. This affects the already stable facial nerves, tissues, and muscle structures and may induce painful symptoms behind the ear.
