What should I do if I have pain behind my ear from wearing glasses?

In general, wearing glasses does not trigger the pain behind the ear. This is because the force exerted by the glasses on the ear is mainly on the upper edge of the auricle.
If the patient confirms that the pain behind the ear is caused by wearing glasses, the pain may be radiating due to the tightness of the glasses’ legs pressing on the nerve endings. Patients are advised to change to looser glasses or massage the sulcus behind the ear frequently for relief.
