How to cure varicose veins

Varicose veins are tortuous and dilated veins caused by blood stagnation and weakness of the vein walls. Varicose veins are most common in the lower extremities. There are different treatments depending on the severity of the condition. Treatment for mild varicose veins: frequent leg massage, rubbing calf muscles, facilitating venous blood return; pillow under the calf area before sleeping at night, facilitating leg blood circulation. Keep walking briskly every day to help the metabolism of varicose veins. Treatment for patients with moderate varicose veins: compression therapy with elastic stockings can be used to produce a direct mechanical effect to normalize the pressure of the diseased vein permeable walls. However, medical compression stockings are not suitable for all patients with varicose veins, e.g., those who are allergic to compression stockings, skin infections and cardiac insufficiency should not use compression stockings. Treatment for patients with severe varicose veins: for those who seriously affect their work and life, high ligation of saphenous vein or small saphenous vein and stripping of main trunk and varicose veins can be done. In recent years, minimally invasive treatments such as radiofrequency, laser and sclerotherapy injection of saphenous vein have gradually matured and are gradually accepted by the majority of patients. In life, we should pay attention to reduce varicose vein triggers, such as do not stand for a long time, quit smoking and alcohol, avoid cold, fatigue, it is advisable to wear long elastic stockings.
