What happens to endometrial thickening and polyps?

Most of the endometrial thickening and polyps are caused by excessive endometrial hyperplasia, mostly due to the prolonged influence of estrogen on the endometrium, resulting in endometrial thickening. When the endometrium thickens to a certain extent, the glandular epithelium inside the glandular cavity proliferates, so that papillary protrusions appear and thus polyps are formed. Women need to undergo diagnostic curettage under the guidance of a doctor, and if polyps are found, they need to be removed by hysteroscopy. Whether scraping or hysteroscopy is done, the removed tissue should be tested for pathology because there is a need to prevent endometrial cancer.
