Endometrial thickening is mainly caused by estrogen stimulation of endometrial hyperplasia. Ethinyl estradiol cyproterone tablets belong to the hormone class of drugs, which can regulate the levels of estrogen and progesterone in the body, affecting the endometrial hyperplasia and detachment of the uterine lining, and thus treating the phenomenon of endometrial thickening.
Adverse reactions such as breast pain, headache, nausea and vomiting, and rash may occur after use. It needs to be contraindicated in patients with a history of migraine with focal neurological symptoms, diabetes mellitus with vascular involvement, the presence of or previous venous or arterial thrombotic/thromboembolic disorders, breastfeeding women, hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of ethinyl estradiol cyproterone tablets.
