Nowadays, craniosynostosis is a very common disorder, which can be caused by a traffic accident, a falling object, or some craniosurgery. Cranial defects are no longer aesthetically pleasing to the head, and the tissues inside the skull lack the necessary protection and can be compromised at any time. Cranial defects are important, and it is crucial to go to the hospital for skull repair surgery in time. On the issue of skull repair, the choice of material directly affects the safety and effect of surgery, so it is important to choose carefully. The PEEK material has been clinically proven to have better histocompatibility and no postoperative rejection, and it can also be shaped in three dimensions according to the patient’s cranial CT to truly restore the structural integrity and aesthetics of the skull, making it the best material for skull repair surgery.
