Staged treatment of facial paralysis and the requirement of needle technique

Nowadays, there are two general staging methods for facial paralysis in clinical practice:(1) Divided into 3 stages. Stage 1: developmental period 1~7 days; Stage 2: stationary period 7~20 days; Stage 3: recovery period after 20 days. (2) Divided into 3 phases. Acute phase: within 2 weeks; recovery phase: 2 weeks to half a year; sequela phase: more than half a year. The author believes that the latter is divided into three periods is more reasonable, because it is generally believed that the course of the disease to half a year can be left with different degrees of sequelae, but most of them can be expected to recover after comprehensive treatment.
